San Francisco Pride (officially the San Francisco Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Pride Celebration) is one of the world's largest and oldest Pride events, held annually in late June in San Francisco. Dating back to 1970, it draws hundreds of thousands of attendees to the Civic Center area for a parade, festival, and celebrations across the Castro and beyond.
