Vancouver Pride is one of Canada's premier Pride celebrations — a festival and parade in one of North America's most beautiful cities, with the mountains and Pacific Ocean as backdrop. The Davie Village and West End are the heart of celebrations, and the parade along Robson and Denman Streets draws hundreds of thousands of spectators.
The Pride Parade marches through Vancouver's West End on the Sunday of Pride Weekend, with a beach festival at Sunset Beach immediately following. The combination of the mountain backdrop, ocean setting, and community atmosphere makes Vancouver Pride one of the most visually spectacular in North America.
August is Vancouver at its absolute best — warm, sunny, and dry (the city's famously wet winters are a distant memory). The combination of Pride, the Pacific ocean, Stanley Park, and Vancouver's outstanding food scene makes for an exceptional week.
Vancouver Pride 2026 runs 25 July – 2 August 2026. The Pride Parade is typically held on the Sunday of the long weekend, along Robson Street to Sunset Beach, where the main festival stage is located.
