Cape Town Pride is the largest LGBTQI+ Pride event in Africa, held annually in late February or early March in the Mother City. The festival spans approximately two weeks of parties, cultural events, and community programming, culminating in the Cape Town Pride Parade through the Green Point and De Waterkant neighbourhoods. Cape Town is widely regarded as the most LGBTQI+-friendly city in Africa.
