Auckland Pride Festival returns in February 2027. The festival runs throughout the month (it ran from 1 to 28 February in 2026), but official 2027 dates haven't been announced yet. Organisers are already registering events for the 2027 programme. We'll update this page as soon as the dates and highlights are confirmed.
Based on previous years: a month of rainbow arts and community events across Tāmaki Makaurau, from theatre, cabaret and exhibitions to talks, sports and parties. There's also the Big Gay Out, a free community day at Coyle Park in Point Chevalier usually held mid-month, and the separately run Rainbow Parade on Ponsonby Road.
February is the height of Auckland's summer and peak travel season, so accommodation fills quickly. Booking a stay with free cancellation now is the easiest way to secure a good spot in the CBD, on K Road or in Ponsonby before the programme is announced.
Fly into Auckland Airport (AKL), New Zealand's main international gateway, about 30–45 minutes from the city centre by car or the SkyDrive bus.
Dates for Auckland Pride Festival 2027 have not been announced yet. The festival runs through February each year (1–28 February in 2026), and event registration for 2027 is already open to organisers. Check aucklandpride.org.nz for the confirmed dates and programme.
