Winter Party is centred on South Beach rather than mainland Miami. The 10th Street area — around the rainbow lifeguard tower and the long-standing gay beach section — is the heart of the LGBTQ+ beach scene, and the Art Deco district's hotels are within walking distance of most events.
Miami International Airport (MIA) is about 20–30 minutes from South Beach by car; Fort Lauderdale (FLL) is a good alternative with more low-cost flights. Staying in South Beach between 5th and 15th Streets puts you close to the Beach Party and most venues. March is peak season, so hotels near the beach fill up quickly.
