Toronto Pride is one of North America's largest Pride festivals — a multi-week celebration in Canada's most diverse city, centred on the Church-Wellesley Village and culminating in a massive parade along Yonge Street in late June.
The Pride Parade along Yonge Street draws over a million spectators and is one of the most important gatherings in the Canadian LGBTQ+ calendar. Canada's strong federal LGBTQ+ protections and Toronto's extraordinary cultural diversity give the parade a particularly joyful, confident character.
The Village fills with street parties, outdoor stages, and community events throughout Pride Week. The neighbourhood's bars, restaurants, and community spaces form the social infrastructure of the festival, and the atmosphere is welcoming to visitors of every background.
Toronto Pride 2026 runs for one week, culminating in the Pride Parade on the last Sunday of June (June 28). The parade travels down Yonge Street from Bloor to Front. The Church and Wellesley Village stages and street parties run throughout the week. Trans March takes place on the Friday and Dyke March on the Saturday before the main parade.
